Non-Destructive Testing

Delivered to DNV‑CP‑0640 standards, providing confidence in the quality and consistency of our NDT services

What is Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)?

Non-destructive testing is a non-intrusive method used to identify defects, deterioration and areas of concern within assets, enabling proactive maintenance and reducing the risk of failure. It is widely applied across plant and equipment, including cranes, mobile machinery, lifting equipment and other critical infrastructure, and supports compliance with relevant Australian and international standards.
With DNV‑CP‑0640 accreditation, we provide NDT services aligned to internationally recognised standards, supporting offshore and marine assets operating under DNV classification, including FPSOs, offshore structures, semi-submersibles and vessels.

Why Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Matters

Inspection & Non-Destructive Testing actively aids in reducing risk whilst increasing the efficiency of operating plant & equipment as well as ensuring the safety of the people operating and working within the vicinity of assets.  Testing is often undertaken as part of risk-based inspections, particularly where assets are exposed to:

  • High usage and general wear and tear
  • Harsh or corrosive environments
  • Overloading or operation beyond design limits
  • Incidents, damage or abnormal events
  • Visible signs of deterioration or structural concern

Environmental responsibility is another key driver for inspection and non-destructive testing, helping to prevent incidents such as bursts, explosions, leaks and spills that can harm the environment. By taking a proactive, data-driven approach, we use inspection insights to identify risks early, minimise potential impacts, and support the ongoing compliance and continuity of mining and operational licences.

What’s the value of a DNV Accreditation?

DNV‑CP‑0640 is a globally recognised certification framework that governs inspection and testing practices.

Operating to this standard ensures:

  • Consistent, high-quality inspection outcomes
  • Qualified personnel and approved methodologies
  • Robust quality assurance and control processes
  • Alignment with international best practice

For our clients, this provides confidence that all NDT services are delivered to a rigorous and dependable standard.

Delivering compliance while keeping assets operational.

Our experienced inspectors and NDT technicians work closely with clients to ensure compliance with industry codes, statutory regulations, and legislative requirements. We offer the capability to inspect buried assets, live piping, and operating vessels without the need for isolation or shutdown—supporting safe, efficient operations while maintaining productivity.
