MEnD were engaged by the National Capital Authority for the specialist façade remediation of the National Carillon. The National Carillon is a historically significant bell tower housing 57 bells on Queen Elizabeth II Island opened in 1970.

- Petrography analysis and design of heritage render to match existing.
- Breakout of existing render and panel facades to make concrete repairs.
- Installation of heritage render finish.
- Defect inspection and testing of existing panels.
- Hazardous material management.
- Replace all external panel joint sealants.
- Roof drainage system replacement.
- Glazing replacement.
- Supply and install bird deterrent system.
- Apply protective coating to external face of ferrocement cladding panels.
- Create and capture data using 3D modelling for defect tagging, repairs, reporting, compliance and quality assurance.
